Orthomed’s Way
Now the hospital has become a multispecialty centre with 60 bedded facility. Orthomed is one of the few hospitals in Chennai with NABH Accreditation (National Accreditation Board for Hospital and Health Care Providers).
Milestones
July 29, 2013 :
Orthomed Hospital was inaugurated by Indian cricketer Mr. Ashwin Ravichandran, starting with 25 beds and 30 staff members, exclusively focusing on orthopaedics and sports medicine.
March 17, 2017 :
The Multi-speciality Block was inaugurated by Our Honorable Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, expanding the hospital to 75 beds, including 10 ICU beds with dialysis facilities, and employing over 100 staff members.
COVID-19 Response :
Adapted to the global pandemic by implementing rigorous safety protocols and providing specialized care for COVID-19 patients. Expanded capacity with 50+ additional beds exclusively for COVID care.
Times of India Health Survey: Ranked No. 7 in the Times of India Health Survey for Best Orthopedics Hospital in Chennai.
10-Year Anniversary :
Celebrated a decade of excellence in healthcare, reflecting on achievements and setting new goals for the future with more than 150+ staffs and 60+ doctors.
Cath Lab Opening :
Set to launch a modern Cath lab equipped with the latest technology for advanced cardiac treatments, expanding our range of specialized medical services.
